What is Emmi-pet?
Emmi‑pet is an ultrasonic toothbrush system made for dogs and other companion animals. Rather than grinding bristles over enamel, we rest a small head on the tooth and let rapid ultrasonic waves travel through gel and saliva. That energy can reach along the gumline and help loosen soft plaque before it sets harder — care without the rough scrubbing many dogs find upsetting.
The device runs quietly compared with traditional dental equipment, and we pause whenever your dog needs a break. Where they settle into the session, the ultrasound works at a microscopic level on bacteria-rich deposits. We offer this as comfort-led maintenance between veterinary check-ups; it never replaces your vet when pain, infection, or advanced disease is suspected.

No Anaesthesia Required
Unlike full clinical dental procedures, Emmi‑pet sessions do not rely on sedation — often a better fit for older dogs or those where anaesthesia carries extra considerations.

Regular Sessions Recommended
Results build session by session for newcomers; after an initial course we usually suggest predictable maintenance intervals so upkeep stays manageable.
What to Expect
During the initial consultation we assess your dog's dental health and discuss the treatment. We will notify you about any concerns and tailor the session accordingly.
If the initial assessment passes, we will proceed with the ultrasonic teeth cleaning.
Please note that teeth cleaning in our salon is not possible if the tartar accumulation has led to gum disease and tooth decay or where there are any loose teeth. Also, if the teeth cleaning is not possible due to the dog's aggressive behaviour we do not proceed. In all mentioned cases we recommend consultation with a vet.
