Dog’s Health and Welfare
- As your dog's health, welfare and safety is our primary concern, before the first groom we must be notified of all pre-existing medical conditions your dog might have. During the first consultation we require all the customers to fill up pre-grooming form that checks information about your dog's health, medical conditions, vaccinations, behavior etc.
- If your dog appears unwell at the time of the appointment, it will not be accepted for grooming. If, during the time of grooming, we will notice any concerning health conditions or unstable behavior of your dog - grooming will be terminated. We will inform you about existing condition and ask to pick up your pet, recommending thereby consultation with vet.
- We do not accept any dog which has been microchipped or had anesthetic within the last 48 hours. Dogs that have had major surgery within last 2 weeks will not be accepted as well. Depending on the situation and vet recommendations we will be able to book the appointment later in the future. We recommend puppies to wait with their groom 2 weeks after their vaccinations.
- If your dog is found to have fleas, we will charge an additional fee of £15 as your pet will need to be bathed in medicated flea shampoo and the salon will need to be disinfected/fumigated after the groom.
- In case of a need of immediate veterinary attention due to issue caused by the factors beyond our control, your pet will receive medical care and you agree that you will be liable for any resulting additional costs.
- At our own discretion we may agree to compensate towards accidental injury that has happened during grooming process requiring from you the full veterinary report describing the medical treatments given to your dog and breakdown of all costs. Veterinary documents and invoices must be sent directly from the veterinary center via post or email to our grooming salon for our review.
- If your pet's coat is excessively matted and de-matting is not possible, we will clip the coat with a short enough blade to get beneath the knots, without forcing discomfort to your dog. For severely matted coats there will be additional charge of £15.
